Terry Moore - Nationally Registered Paramedic

Terry's extensive medical career dates back to 1989 when he joined the Australian Army as a Combat Medic. He honorably discharged 9 years later, and worked as a nurse in the remote Australian outback on mine sites, remote Aboriginal communities and in large general hospitals. After immigrating to the United States in 2002 he completed 2 years in College to achieve his Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P) rating and immediately commenced work for the same college as a EMS faculty instructor and shortly after commenced work as a full time at a very busy 911 agency in the northern parts of Houston Texas. A couple of years later he left for Iraq to do his part on the war on terror as a remote duty paramedic and a high risk private security detail paramedic for the U.S Dept of State. He has spent the better part of 8 years in two war zones with and without weapons. He has worked the remote jungles of Papua New Guinea where Headhunters to this day still exist and on remote off shore Oil Rigs. Terry is also the founder, owner and director of education for Texa's leading Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training company Tactical Medics Group LLC. About Divers Alert Network (DAN)

Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical, education and research organization dedicated to the safety and health of scuba divers and is associated with the diving and hyperbaric medical centers at the University of California at San Diego and University of Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1980, DAN has served as a lifeline for the scuba industry by operating diving's only 24-hour emergency hotline, a lifesaving service for injured divers. Additionally, DAN operates a diving medical information line, conducts vital diving medical research, and develops and provides a number of educational programs for everyone from beginning divers to medical professionals.

About Emergency First Response

Emergency First Response courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use. Emergency First Response also offers comprehensive First Aid at Work courses, specifically designed to meet national and international compliance standards for CPR and first aid courses in the workplace. Emergency First Response courses are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs. They can be taught together or alone in any combination.

The Emergency First Response courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Participants learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level. More Info...
