PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver Course at Texas Dive Center is absolutely the best way to learn how to dive. We offer small personalized classes. Our courses take place in a warm indoor heated pool and you're never placed in a large group. By keeping our classes small, we can offer you a very informative and comprehensive program. This certification will allow you to go diving with friends and family anywhere in the world. The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most recognized diving certification in the world.

Qualifications
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is designed for practically anyone that is in good health and comfortable in the water. The PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course is for divers bewtween the ages of 10 and 14. Divers 15 and up receive the PADI Open Water Diver Certification

What You Will Learn
In the PADI Open Water Diver Course, you will learn the basics of SCUBA diving which includes equipment and diving techniques. You'll earn this certification by completing five academic sessions, five pool sessions and four open water dives. Most of our open water training dives are conducted at local dive training sites (lakes).
How Long Is The Course
The PADI Open Water Course is performance based. The course typically is conducted over two weekends with some evening sessions involved. We also offer private courses for busy professionals that require a more flexible schedule.
The e-Learning Alternative
e-Learning provides you with a great alternative to traditional scuba classes. The class work is completed online at your convenience. This alternative is a great option for busy professionals. Once you complete your e-Learning and bring your certificate of completion to Texas Dive Center, you will receive a $25 gift certificate towards your next purchase.
What Diving Equipment You Will Need
Texas Dive Center will furnish all the SCUBA equipment required for your PADI Open Water Diver Course. There is no extra charge for the use of rental equipment.
Each student is responsible for their own mask, snorkel, fins and boots. At Texas Dive Center we have a large selection of equipment to choose from and each student receives a special discount.
